A madams House A dames house takes place on a frigidness Christmas evening sometime in the ninth century. Nora, the protagonist, is a joyful, loving, accustomed bewilder and wife who is extremely obedient to her hubby Torvald Helmer. They rich soul three children, Bob, Emmy, and Ivar whom are all taken care of by their nanny Anne-Marie. There are two friends that show up in the play around the same time named Mrs. Linde and Dr. Rank. The author, Henrik Ibsen, portrays Nora to be a partially naïve woman who is ignorant to the orthogonal world and only real job is to be a muse for her husband. At the beginning of the play it shows Noras airheaded attitude by her coming into the house with an abundance of gifts for her kids for Christmas. She has no concept of pitch because she shops with all the money she has. Torvald has taking a higher position at the posit he plant for which will eventually allow for his family to enjoy more economic things in l ife.
